Rio Velo celebrates bicycles, the rivers and the people who love them….a free festival for all things bicycle attracting recreational riders, specialty riders, seasoned cyclists, families and all who enjoy bicycling and our rivers as part of healthy living.

Watch these pros fly on their specialty performance bikes, then stick around after each show for autographs and photos with the pros.

Bicycle Rodeo Presented by California Highway Patrol and Sacramento Police Dept.
Rio Velo’s bike rodeo provides the opportunity for riders of all ages to practice and develop skills that will help them become better and safer bicyclists.

Meet Scooter, the Spare the Air mascot for the Sacramentoa region and learn how bicycling helps us Spare the Air.
